AIM(S)

The aim for this module is for each candidate critically to evaluate contemporary core knowledge and to then apply this to achieve critical self-assessment in relation to interpersonal leadership qualities for current & future personal development to lead in complex often uncertain environments.

 

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Upon the successful completion of this module, the candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to:

  • Critically assess leadership models and critique contributions from contemporary leadership thinking and leadership performance from the literature
  • Through self-reflection, assess the need for individual development to strengthen interpersonal leadership abilities for management accession
  • Synthesize concepts, including the multi-faceted nature of social intelligence to achieve an informed assessment of how interpersonal effectiveness is challenged in cross-cultural environments when leading strategy implementation
